I came across this while searching for the results of a June 3rd surf contest somewhere in San Diego area which my friend was in. It looks you guys are on the Camp Pendleton base. I'm 54 and stopped surfing 20 years ago because of too many kooks on leashes. The base likely keeps out these riffraff. How can I get on base and surf in peace?

This contest was actually at Cassidy Street in Oceanside since the base was closed to civilians last weekend.
In the future when the base is open, how can I use the beach?

Paul...you are going to need to Join the Marines.
Department of Defense, Marines and Armed forces personell only...one of the above can also get you on base.
Good luck...O-side is better than Del Mar River Jetties anyway

They'll also let you on base if you have boobs. At least that has been my experiance ;)
