FYI: I am going to take most of next wednesday off of work and drive Capt. Gaffney's xterra over to DMJ's for a surf session. more updates next week once updated forecast is in on swell and wind. Clear your calanders I have 3 max 4 other seats in the ride.

"In the main spotlight now is a new solid S swell from storm activity now weakening off South America. This large S swell (180-190) is lining up through the early/mid part of next week, with long period energy on the rise through the day Tuesday. Expect strong surf by the afternoon Tues and increased swell carries larger surf into Wednesday. Most spots with any view to the south (Ventura, North LA, South Bay, OC, SD) pick up head high+ waves, while good spots are a couple to a few feet overhead. Top spots, mainly in Orange County, hit double overhead sets at times. Energy gradually eases Thursday and then fades into the weekend of the 14th. "
