Yep...the Donkey Patrol hit Oceanside hard yesterday...but not the surf.
Arrowood Golf Course...Ford officially walked away the winner with 12 skins under his belt...Stefan had 5, Geoff 1 and The Smythe did as well as he did in the DP Surf Contest, HE LOST.
The day was a lot of fun..it was overcast, had a breeze and the cooler I brought was filled with cold beer...as was the 12 pack that Ford bought (and shared with everyone) on the course. It doesnt get much better than that...except when the Reef Girls are driving the Beer Cart.
Highlights:
Smythe with a 20 ft downhill put and getting it in the hole!
Fords Chip Shot on the 18th...so close to going in from 20 yards out
Geoff splitting the uprights with 250 drive down the center of the 18th
Stefan using a Demo driver and learning what good equipment does to your game (45 on front 9)
Lowlights
Me explaining that the cart girl works off of tips and to stop being so cheap by tipping pocket change
All four of us hitting our balls into the water on the 18th
